Shibumi is amazing! I wanted to find an unusual and beautiful outfit for my Godson's christening. I bought a silk jumpsuit in the most incredible teal silk, I felt amazing and really confident for making a scary speech! I've worn my jumpsuit loads since and get compliments every time! Will definitely be purchasing again x

I just got my full-length cashmere coat yesterday and OH MY GOD - it's incredible, and it fits perfectly. It is beyond gorgeous. They were incredibly helpful with sizing, as I'm in the US. Absolutely in love with my coat - worth every penny!!!

I have just had my second Nehru coat delivered - in gorgeous red cashmere ready for a family wedding - my first coat in bright pink embroidered silk was a huge hit at a winter wedding last year! These coats and colours are just beautiful and will be statement pieces in my wardrobe for years . The cashmere coat looks particularly good over a pair of jeans. I bought the first coat directly from Ruth and she was really helpful in the face of my indecision - finding a discontinued fabric that really suited my colouring. The second coat was ordered over the phone after lots of conversations about colour - all very easy and a very good service. I am on the “plump” side but these coats give me so much confidence ..... Oh and my family are so impressed with the jacket folding technique from the website!

Have only amazing things to say about Shibumi. Brought a jacket for my Mum to wear to my wedding. Not only is the jacket completely stunning the care and service to make it possible to get a jacket made in time for the wedding was more than I could have expected. Thank you so much to the whole team for making it possible for her feel so special.

Awesome place

Shibumi have the most amazing range . I really love the fabrics they use.I have been buying their coats and jackets for over 13 years. Originally I was lured in ( at a show) by the most vibrant colourful fabrics Ruth uses.They are my absolute “ go to “ item of clothing. They cheer me up and make any day special. I’m always getting compliments, I have recommended them to so many people. I never have an “ I don’t know what to wear “ moment.I didn’t have a special occasion in mind with my first purchase, I just wore them with white of black jeans and T shirt. They all compliment a little black, white or cream dress .Needless to say I have bought many others since then. They accompany me on every holiday. I wear them to dressy occasions and I wear them to the supermarket.

Shibumi Style is not a company to be trusted. Don’t be fooled by what they say and show you on their Website.If you still want to buy something make sure you do not go for a made-to-measure order. I had an incredible bad experience with mine.My made-to-measure Hepburn dress was delivered after c 6 weeks with big discrepancies between the measurements taken by Ruth and actual measurements.Just one example: I’ve paid an extra £150 for the bespoke order and the extra fabric which was supposed to be used to make the dress longer than the standard length. Ruth’s measurement for “Waist to hem at knee” was 30.25-inch (according to her notes on the Client Dress Measurement sheet). However, the actual length was 26-inch (over 13% less than Ruth’s measurement).This is just one example out of many where the actual measurement was very different from Ruth's measurement. I had to pay £75 to an alteration services company ( “Top Stitch” in Leeds ) to make many alterations to the dress so I can wear it (some of the required alterations could be seen in the attached photo).I would've given Shibumistyle 0 stars if possible.

Brilliant customer relations, very friendly, super helpful, staff and beautifully hand made coats. What a treat in an ever madder world to find real quality and a nice company to talk to, a complete pleasure.
