Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Great place for a walk, £9 per person though. The cafe/shop prices are ridiculous £2.80 can of pop, bring your own...

Had a lovely day out, spent about 5 hours out which included a coffee break at pub across the road. No cafe on site but no problem, they have toilets. Staff was polite and informative. Absolutely hundreds of sculptures to see and the trail was quite easy to follow.

Fantastic hide away garden with 200 sculptures, large and small. Amazing homemade cakes too. This is a must see FREE sculpture trail in a beautiful garden setting close to Tewkesbury.

Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Yorkshire Sculpture park was an absolute dream, a really lovely place to make memories and enjoy a beautiful wholesome day outside. Spotted immense amounts of wildlife and stumbled across some very lovely cows.My particular highlights were the wild flower garden with the round birch tree shelter and the rose arch next to an ancient yew tree. Had the most divine day out, plenty to explore and see. The sculptures and installations are dotted about everywhere but I was pleasantly surprised to see such a variety of nature. Lakes, woods, wildflower meadows and much more. 10/10 best day out ✨

Chesters Roman Fort and Museum - Hadrian's Wall
Very friendly staff, with good information about Chester's . Nice tea room. Roman fort layout was well preserved and you could imagine the parts that were not exposed, very impressive bathhouse near to where the bridge used to be. The museum with all the artifacts that were found was very interesting, a lot of intact items, gave you an idea of what life was like then .

Cotswold Sculpture Park
Yes, very nice. A lot more there than I was expecting, and laid out within a lovely woodland setting. Parking was o.k. and the price was sensible. We lost track of the numbers a few times, but that could have been just us. Some very clever designs which, I understand, change every year. A great way of promoting and selling art.

Showborough House Garden Sculpture Exhibition
A challenging place to find, it appears only Google satnav rather than car satnav is effective. However well worth the visit, the garden is naturally designed as a serious of small rooms divided by hedges. No map or entrance fee just donations. It felt like hundreds of pieces of art work, available to all pockets, set in natural settings. Honesty box for cake biscuits and drinks £5/person. We spent over two hours wandering around and exploring. Only open for 5 weeks of the year, will definitely return.

On a hot day following the signs to the exhibition as well as checking the internet to make sure of opening times we were greeted by a Bumptious gentleman who asked us what we were doing there and that it had closed last week even though exhibits were on display.Appalling customer service and they should really put effort into taking down direction signs and internet opening times....I wish I could give less than 1 star not recommended.

A brilliant escape to immerse in art and nature. Don’t miss the amazing interactive art of the mineshaft… absolute giggle. This is my first visit… I will come again, bring friends and spread the word.Any time here is blissful. Thank you to Eddie Powell for curating such a magical experience.I’m not sure it’s especially easy for wheelchair users.
