I had a guided tour with friends and would highly recommend anyone to visit this site. An amazing insight into what can be done with waste materials. Above all I would like to recommend our guide Jez who was charming, friendly and very knowledgeable. He brought alive the whole experience and made the day so much more memorable.

Lovely sight from the motorway. Fantastic architecture, great combination of a post modern facade with a lovely mosaic window. Really captures the essence of the modern day views of incineration! Would recommend.

Fantastic looking building built 1989. Can be seen from A500 and A5006. Sat between 2 roundabouts on Campbell Road.Burns waste and turns it into electricity for the National Grid.Was due to be decommissioned in 2020 but has been given a new lease of life until 2025 or until the council build a bigger waste disposal facility.

On the website it says opening times 8am on a Sunday ,when we arrived it says 9am on the gate!!!
