North Colchester Medical Centre has to be the most inadequate, poorly run and least empathic service ever run.The receptionists are rude and argumentative and the staff find any reason not to see you. Whilst I appreciate there is more than one service ran from this building they are all as equally inadequate as each other.There website states that you can be seen by a doctor of your choice within one week I have never known this to happen.When I failed to get a doctors appointment at the surgery I presented myself as a walk in patient with a swollen knee. I was referred to A&E where I was told I don't meet there criteria, returned to the walk in centre, I don't meet there criteria and was told to book a GP appointment which I can't get for 10 days. I returned to the walk in centre in considerable a few days later where a receptionist asked me what I wanted them to do about it after reading walk in paperwork and I should wait to see my GP. I left frustrated and decided to return where another reception said they could see me, only for the original receptionist to become argumentative with me and leave a note on my record that I was rude - which absolutely was not the case, she was foul tempted and argumentative from the offset.Once I was finally seen after a 3 hour wait the nurse was more concerned about the note the receptionist left on my record that I was rude and proceed to tell me they were busy and I don't meet certain criteria and to take pain relieve and that as my injury was now old they couldn't treat me. The injury was old as no service wanted to ownership for seeing me! All of which are run from that building by those same receptionist.I would advise anyone to steer well clear of the walk in and register at a different surgery, not there's. I think the service here should consider if this was there mother, daughter or loved one, would they consider the treatment acceptable - I believe not!

Absolutely terrible senior receptionist called Chrissy, she is rude, lack of social skills, tells lies and speaks over you interrupting constantly, resulting in a heated altercation. When I am advised to contact my GP due to illnessI am so reluctant I feel so ill that I can't cope any longer.I am a bed bound lady and need a lot of medicine, she knows this and talks to me like a piece of s***. She needs firing as she is jeopardising the reputation of the practice. There are some doctors who are so nice and some very tired, yawning through your conversation. This pandemic is clearly affecting the professional capabilities of everyone.

The staff at Unicity Medical Centre are extremely helpful. They have all taken great care of me. The doctors are kind and knowledgeable and have referred me to St Mary’s and QA hospitals. The receptionists and other nursing staff are courteous and helpful. I have never had to wait too long for an appointment. I recommended the practice to a friend and is really impressed by how he has been treated.

The Lighthouse in Leighton Buzzard has been my first experience of East London Foundation Trust and is the perfect example of the Trust's outstanding rating.The Lighthouse has been for me both a safe and friendly place to go and I honestly believe I would not have come through recent difficult experiences if I hadn’t been able to go there.Chatting to other service users I have found that this is a common experience for others also.For the first time in a very long time, at the Lighthouse I have felt cared for and supported, no longer alone and accepted as I am. The Lighthouse has given me hope for the future which I didn’t think I would ever feel again.I highly recommend the Lighthouse to anyone who is considering attending. Yes it takes courage to go the first few times but everyone there is really welcoming and understanding. It really is worth a try.

I had a woman’s health check I just wanted to say the lady/ nurse I saw was the kindest , loveliest most helpful person I have come . I wish everyone was like her when it comes to health issues . My app was at 10.45 23/ 3/2023

I had an excellent experience and can't thank the doctor enough for his help. The only problem I had was when I called the doctors the first time I got through they put the phone down on me and then I had to call about 16 times more to get through and then had a bed connection and the receptionist had to call me back because the call dropped out.
