Pen Museum
Phenomenal, so interesting, informative . With interactive ability, a film show, interviews with previous workers. You're able to use the original machines and make your own nib. Truly enjoyed it

West Raynham Control Tower
We had a lovely ride out to their open day and as my husband loves old airfields he was able to see around the control tower and hear more about the history of the airfield.

Hestercombe House & Gardens
Lovely return visit for the Christmas Market and stroll around the grounds. Well marked out paths around the lake and places to explore with great views. Did the evening light show last year, well worth a visit this year.

Milestones Museum
This museum was hands down the best museum I have ever been to. It does not look like much from the outside but once you are inside and onto the streets you are taken back to the 1940There is a pub, cafe, sweet shop and even a place to buy your 30s toysWell worth a visit

The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace
Visited in Aug, wasnt very busy as compared to rest of the sights around London at the time. Tour is guided and takes about 45mins. Great info provided on the history of the place and the staff. You get to see the state carriages and learn its history. Very informative and would recommend to visit while at Buckingham Palace; its less than 10min walk from the main palace gates.

Wollaton Hall, Gardens and Deer Park
Absolutely lovely walk around the lake. It doesn’t take long and there are ducks and geese to feed. Keep an eye open for the deer roaming freely on the grounds.Parking isn’t free, it’s £5 flat fee for the whole day even if you arrive late afternoon. There is a cafe and a museum which is great but check the website because it can close on random days.

It's a lovely place to spend the morning or afternoon, plenty for adults and children, it's a look into times gone by also does workshops, pottery, painting, craft works, woolen mill, and play areas for children plus duck feeding.
