Beautiful Catholic Church. I’ve been going for more than a year (before that was going to the St Francis of Assisi church also in Chester city centre - lovely choir). The 10:45 Sunday mass has a lovely pipe organ playing.

Catholic Church of Saints Gregory and Augustine
Holy Mass said with true devotion, faith and dignity which is a rare find these days. The building itself is beautiful and peaceful lending the atmosphere a more prayerful and quiet one.

Would be a lot better if the legacy of Benedict XVI applied more here with Traditional Latin Mass publicly offered & Novos Ordo done in Latin. Catholic Church is Catholic because Our Lord made it so hence the fact that I prefer Oxford Oratory & Sts Gregory & Augustine out of fidelity to Our Lord.

St Patrick's Church
Caring, compassionate, committed. On the 2nd worst day of my life, which was my Mother's funeral, I was completely and utterly soothed, calmed and comforted by the magnificently empathetic human being that is Fr Jim Clark. So too the wonderful Nuns who assisted with the funeral mass for Mum. I totally believe she would have been as humbled as I was by the overwhelming sincerity and love that was present in that church, during that service on that day. Simply, beautifully, lovingly celebrated. May she rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon her.
